I am a longtime Kamloopsian, father to two wonderful girls (3 and 5), and a a former Commercial Banker now realigning priorities and destined for a purposeful and rewarding career in education.
I am completing my first year in the BEd program, and hoping to explore opportunities that might available for a mature Teacher Candidate transitioning from a background in business, but with all the passion in the world to not only teach my own children to read and write, but also with mentor older students in the realms of financial literacy and all other areas of the business curriculum.
My aspirations land somewhere in the middle between balancing a drive to teach mid-late Elementary, while also having a broad career in banking and consequently a fascination and desire to teach business electives such as Entrepreneurship, Accounting, and Marketing.
